UNIX, Linux, BSD Style Keystroke Loggers
Keystroke loggers for UNIX systems vary because each flavor of
UNIX has
it's own requirements and standards for the system to follow. Listed
below you will find some UNIX keystroke loggers and information, if you
have any you would like to contribute contact us. If the UNIX machine
has a PS2 Keyboard you may concider the Hardware Keystroke logger as an
alternative and definite way of recording keyboard activity of which
keys are presses. Click here
for Hardware Keystroke Loggers
Many of the Rootkits for UNIX contain keystroke loggers, we won't link
to them here since the rootkits are intended for backdooring a system
and that is not what this site is about at all. When in need of a way to
backup your keystroke activity you will turn to keystroke loggers and
recording devices such as the ones listed on our site :)

Linspy 2
|
| Description |
Xian's LineSpy 2 is a keystroke logger for linux kernels v2.2 and 2.4 to
record TTY activity. His work is based on Halflife's Phrack 50 article.
Capturing key strokes seems simple, yet for UNIX there have been very
limited numbers of well working programs to do the task of snagging keys
and logging them as they are typed.
